Why rinsing with mouth wash should be part of your oral hygiene routine

Mouthwash is a liquid product that is used to rinse your teeth, gums, and mouth. Usually, it has an antiseptic in it to get rid of any bad germs that might be on your tongue, in your mouth, or between your teeth.

According to long-term research, taking a mouthwash along with brushing twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste, and flossing at least once per day, will reduce plaque and gingivitis.

Some people use mouthwash to help them fight bad breath, while others use it to try to keep their teeth healthy.

How to use mouth wash/rinse ?

To get the best results, always follow the instructions on the package of mouthwash you're using. Some brands of mouthwash may vary in their instructions, so be sure to read the package itself first.

* Fill a plastic measuring cup or the cup included with the package with your preferred oral rinse.

Use only the recommended amount of mouthwash for the product.

Usually, 3 to 5 teaspoons are used.

* Swish the liquid in your mouth after emptying the cup.

Avoid swallowing it.

Mouthwash shouldn't be consumed, and if you do, it won't be effective.

Gargle for 30 seconds while you're rinsing.

You might wish to set a watch or try simply counting to 30, then simply spit the mouthwash out into the sink. Keep in mind that a perfect result requires that the 30 second timing be followed to.
